The Council for Secular Humanism (From their website) The Council for Secular Humanism cultivates rational inquiry, ethical values, and human development through the advancement of secular humanism. To carry out its mission the Council for Secular Humanism sponsors publications, programs, and organizes meetings and other group activities. In addition they produce the Point of Inquiry Podcast and the Free Inquiry magazine.
The Skeptic's Society The publishers of Skeptic magazine, an a good resource for general information for skeptics.
The Skeptic's Dictionary A dictionary of terms that are used by both skeptics and those making strange claims. It is a great resource for terms and explainations of different ideas that one might run into.
Committee for the Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal CSICOP encourages the critical investigation of paranormal and fringe-science claims from a responsible, scientific point of view and disseminates factual information about the results of such inquiries to the scientific community and the public.
The James Randi Educational Foundation James Randi, magician and skeptic, founded an orginisation to help promote skeptical thought. JREF also offers a Million Dollar Prize for anyone able to show, under controlled circumstances, paranormal abilities.
